Read the size of your frame

To make sure the frames are perfectly suitable, first select the frames of the right size for you. The best place to start is to make measurements on the frame of your glasses you currently have first,

Look for the three small numbers inside your glasses. Some may also refer to this section as the "arm" of your glasses

These three numbers are frame measurements. From left to right, these measurements appear in the following order:

Lens width 47

View bridge 19

Arm length 140

Sometimes, a fourth number is observed on the arms, namely the height of the lens. Keep in mind that all these measurements are in millimeters.
  •  Lens width

This is the horizontal width of each lens at the widest point. Usually ranges from 40 mm to 60 mm.

  • Bridge width

This is the distance between the two lenses. In short, the width of the bridge is the area that fits your nose. The size of this piece ranges from 14 mm to 24 mm.

  • Arm length

This is the length of the arm of each screw to the end of the arm, including the bending that sits on your ear. The length of the arm is 120 mm to 150 mm.
  • Height of Lens

This is the vertical height of the glasses lenses when the widest point in the lens within the frame.

Lens height is important when measuring bifocal glasses or progressive lenses.(BKORSIV) .
There are a few useful tips to measure your frame and find the perfect frame width
1. A very narrow frame will make your face appear wider,
2. While a very wide frame makes your face appear narrower.

This is one of the most important factors in finding a pair of glasses that fits well.

Find a slightly wider frame of your face - no more than a finger width between your arm and face.

This measurement is not printed on your temple glasses. To find it, take your measuring tape and measure it horizontally on the front of the tire, including any hinges

  • Get a comfortable frame with your arm length

The length of the arm is the measurement in millimeters of the "spikes" of the frame measures 135 mm, 140 mm, 145 mm, and 150 mm are the most widely used options. The arm should fit horizontally and evenly on your face and fit comfortably on the ear.
To find the length of the arm, measure its length from the screw to the edge.

  • Choose the right lens length and width

To determine the right lens size for you, your eyes should be concentrated inside your lenses. Very large eyeglass frames make your eyes look very close to each other.

While narrow frames will give your eyes a wide look.

للعثور على ارتفاع العدسة وعرضها ، قم بقياس أوسع أو أطول أجزاء العدسة.

  • choose the ideal bridge width

The bridge should sit comfortably on your nose and can help your nose locate the frame style that suits you best. If your nose is higher on your face, the pattern of glasses where the bridge will be up with the eyebrow frame will look better. If your nose is in a slightly lower position on your face, a frame with a lower bridge and a curved eyebrow line will best suit your features.

To find the bridge width, measure the distance between the inner edges of each lens.
